When you first set foot inside Petite Sweet Bakery, the first thing you might notice is the extensive variety of options - something the owner, Sherie Rzeczkowski, is rather proud to offer.
Together, Sherie Rzeczkowski and her husband Joe guide Petite Sweet Bakery through their personal philosophy for food: real food, made fresh, in-house. To honor their philosophy of food, Rzeczkowski commits to being at Petite Sweet seven days a week as not only the owner who oversees every aspect of operations but also as the lead in the bakery. Her passion for pastries began when she was young, working alongside her mother in the kitchen.
Over the years, Petite Sweet has become well known for its extensive menu featuring more than just pastries. You’ll also find deli sandwiches, salads, soups and much more. Though the bakery side of Petite Sweet might draw you in at first, the restaurant-style options are something Rzeczkowski is glad to offer. The non-sugar-based dishes are options that she tries to keep on the healthier side, making Petite Sweet a delightful lunch option as well.
Among the most unique of their menu items is the smoke and granny sandwich, which contains smoked gouda, granny smith apples, and turkey on sourdough. While the combination may seem rare, the idea was inspired by a French restaurant Rzeczkowski used to frequent.
Despite their already extensive menu, Rzeczkowski has made it a priority to continue to expand their options to be inclusive to every dietary need. Her menu now hosts gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options.
Looking for something to warm you up during these cold winter days? Stop by and try their soups: one vegetarian option and a non-vegetarian option is offered each day. Rzeczkowski is always swapping in new options to keep the menu as fresh as the seasons.
